Gulf consult has recently completed the Geotechnical investigation of the major project (AMIRAL)
The latest project to date is Amiral, a vast world-scale petrochemical complex integrated with the SATORP refinery in Jubail on the country’s east coast. Amiral is being developed and will be operated by the SATORP joint venture owned by Saudi Aramco (62.5%) and TotalEnergies (37.5%). The project represents an investment of $11 billion. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2023 with commercial operation planned for 2027

King Salman Energy Park (SPARK) is a 50km2 energy city megaproject which will position Saudi Arabia as a global energy, industrial and technology hub. It is located between Dammam and Al-Ahsa in the Eastern Province, near Dammam 3 which is being developed by the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON).
